Diplomate status is awarded to those who are evaluated for their educational and clinical merit. By successfully completing this examination process, your periodontist pledges personal and professional commitment to the standards of periodontics, including continued growth through lifelong learning.

The Board is recognized by the National Commission on Recognition of Dental Specialties and Certifying Boards and provides certification in periodontics and dental implant surgery (ABP, American Board of Periodontology).
